A collaboration between MIT Sloan Management Review and The Boston Consulting Group produced the report, Sustainability: The 'Embracers' Seize Advantage. The study was based on data from a survey of 3,000 corporate leaders and more than 30 in-depth interviews.

Researchers found two types of companies: “embracers” and “cautious adopters.”
