Study: Happiness & productivity

Three researchers from the University of Warwick Coventry in the UK asked “Does happiness affect productivity?” Their conclusion: Yes, happier people are more productive -- about 10% more.

According to Daniel Sgroi, one of the researchers, the team "turned the traditional causal relationship between production and happiness on its head – rather than investigate how economic variables, like income or growth affect happiness, we have instead studied how happiness affects economic variables.”
