Study finds Generation Y prefers to work at the office

According to a study by Advanced Workplace Associates (AWA), younger workers prefer to work at the office in order to “see and be seen.”

The study assessed differences between the generations at work and involved 19 blue chip companies, including Barclays, Deloitte, Microsoft, Pfizer, Tesco, and Unilever. Other than the desire to “work at work,” the study found little else to distinguish younger age-groups from older ones and little or no friction between generations.
