Research Report: Innovation Through New Ways of Working
Earlier this year, New WOW commissioned a white paper on Innovation Through New Ways of Working by Dr Bettina von Stamm. She will present her findings at the Symposium next week in Utrecht, Netherlands. According to Dr von Stamm, "New Ways of Working and Innovation have great potential -- if properly understood and if used in alignment with the desired outcomes, and consideration of the specific context." Her paper focuses on organizational rather than team level innovation. Members may download a copy of her study by clicking: http://www.newwow.net/members/node/2238

"Science knows that if you give people the opportunity to master a skill and give them lots of autonomy, they do great work. Business locks us down in cubicles and monitors us," she says. "One of the most unproductive things we do as a society is to move bodies around."
