2009 Benchmarking Study Report Published

Categories:

New Ways of Working sent the results of its 2009 Alternative Workplace Survey to the participating companies in early March 2010.

More than 100 organizations participated globally in the benchmarking study, representing about 4.5 million employees. The study compares differences between this year's and last year's results, the impact of the current economy on workplace provisioning, and the role of executive leadership in the development and implementation of alternative workplace strategies. It also discusses how "veteran" companies compare to those just beginning to implement and how companies compare by region and industry.

Next Tertulia: Scenario building--oil & the end of globalization

Categories:

Members of the New Ways of Working Network will join in developing a scenario of what business might be like if dramatic hikes in oil prices became permanent, and how work systems (workplace, work practices, technology) would need to change as a result.

At this tertulia, we will: (1) revise the scenario as needed, and then (2) brainstorm some of the responses/changes in the work system that will be needed to adapt if the scenario were to occur.

This event will be entirely virtual. Watch the newsletter for updates.
