Publication Outline:

This paper presents discusses several tools and techniques comprising a robust, flexible framework for analyzing and measuring work and work performance. Until recently, the focus of research and practice of measuring work and work performance has been either the individual or the organization. This report will not revisit that extensive body of knowledge. Instead, we will explore efforts by both researchers and practitioners to develop appropriate ways to assess performance of people working cooperatively as a group. This paper isn’t a prescription for “The Approach” to measuring work performance.
