Jim Creighton found this list, “10 Characteristics of a Successful Flexible Worker,” on the workstyledesign blog. According to blogger Ashley Acker, these are the 10 characteristics you must have—or develop—to thrive in a flexible work environment:

  1. Strong work ethic
  2. Knows it’s NOT about sleeping in & wearing PJs all day
  3. Disciplined
  4. Self-motivated
  5. Proactive
  6. Flexible
  7. Willing to learn
  8. Willing to change
  9. Focused
  10. Organized
